In order to get into Nut Kickin Rampage please be aware of the following: 1. You must agree to follow the charter(s) as listed below. 2. You must answer ALL questions on the applications forms to be considered for entry into the new guild (located on the recruiting status page in the navigation bar). 3. Once you have completed the app you will receive an mail or an in game whisper to get your character(s) into the guild. Feel free to send an officer a whisper to remind them to check your application once it’s completed so we can go over it as soon as possible. 4. You may have to go through an interview - this will be done at the discretion of the officers. Guild Charter Joining Nut Kickin Rampage 1. We consist of many types of players, PvP, PvE, low levels, high levels, young and old. So basically everyone is welcome to join our variety of play styles and personalities to enjoy all the game has to offer. We are looking for members who have: • A sense of humor • A sense of fair play • A willingness to actively participate in the guild • An easy going nature and more modesty over ego • Maturity in handling guild matters and personal issues. We’re all about having fun, making stupid jokes, etc but know where to draw the line. There are times for fun and times to be serious. Please try to recognize the difference. 2. Guild invite cannot be done until after acceptance of the Charter and by application to the forums has been completed and accepted. Understand this is done so that right from the start you know what we expect from you and what you can expect from us. This is simply an effort to put it all out there in order to hopefully avoid problems later on. Please remember however that we are a very casual guild so this should be nothing to really stress about. General Guidelines 1. We come together to play a game! Have fun, and play the parts of the game you enjoy – PvE, Trade skills, PvP etc. 2. People will ALWAYS have disagreements, BUT take them to whispers so the rest of the guild does not have to hear all of your disputes. If the people having a problem cannot resolve it between themselves, bring the issue to the attention of an officer and we’ll go from there. 3. We prefer our members not ‘beg’ for power leveling, or gold, or any begging of any kind. In general we tend to be generous people and you will have many opportunities to gain these things with us. Please be patient as we continue to grow. The less people we have in the guild obviously the harder it will be to help everyone all the time with runs and whatever else. This issue will become less and less stressful as we get more members. 4. Most of our members are college students to younger, middle-aged adults with kids. We will never expect you to make WOW a priority over your classes, schoolwork, or jobs. Please extend this same expectation to us. We formed this guild because we love the game and we love to play together, but real life comes first. Again, because we are a very small guild at the moment everyone will have to be patient as far as getting help with things. 5. Grief Players will NOT be tolerated. 6. Harassment of other players, in our guild or otherwise, will not be tolerated. 7. Any decision made by the GM is final and binding. General Player Expectations 1. When in doubt, check the charter and forums before bringing an issue to an officer or another player. 2. Try to form Guild groups. If you are in a group that needs replacement players, look towards Nut Kickin Rampage before pugging players. The more we play together the more successful we will become over time. Once again, be patient as we still have a lot of growing to do. The sad reality is you will probably have to pug most of your runs until we get more members. 3. If you have a problem, your first option is not to /gquit. We are looking to invest in each other as players and as if we were family. The stronger our relationships within the guild, the better off and more successful we’ll be. Give us the courtesy of explaining, resolving, or finding a compromise before you fly off the handle and leave. 4. As our policy states, don’t beg for handouts, but at the same time, try to be charitable. You will find that we help out our members immensely, but help comes through gifts, not solicitation. 5. Represent Nut Kickin Rampage with pride and humility. In most instances, it’s better to be the bigger person, even when you’re angry. The better the impression we make on others, the more opportunity we have to grow and be successful. 6. Always remember, as with anything, you get out of it what you put in. If you want a good experience, give your all. If you are doing everything you can to be known, get groups, and have fun, you will benefit from Nut Kicking Rampage. Violations 1. If someone is found to be violating these guidelines, members can refer the matter to an officer. 2. A meeting between the officers will then be started concerning the situation. If the situation warrants it, the player may be removed from the guild. Otherwise an official warning will be issued to the player. 3. Please note that repeated, minor violations could be considered grounds for removal from the guild. At some point, enough is enough. 4. Serious violations will merit only one (1) warning prior to being kicked out of the guild. 5. Don’t have the mindset that because we are a casual guild that you can get away with whatever you want. Our integrity is very important and we want to keep that in tact with other players and guilds. Grouping Charter 1. If you ask someone for help with a quest/group/run etc, do not invite them and then expect them to fill the rest of the group. That is your responsibility. 2. When looking for additional players for a group or a RAID, if looking in /gchat does not work, please whisper the person who's help you would like once, or twice, do not harass them beyond that. 3. Gear is to be distributed on a need before greed basis. There is no rule for "only 1 blue per run". Set pieces will default to the class they are meant for prior to additional classes getting a chance on them. As most of you probably know, Lothar’s general loot etiquette is to pass on all blues and purples and then players who need certain items may then roll on them after the group has discussed the loot. Because this is the realm norm, we will also adhere to it as a guild. 4. Everyone is encouraged to use all their toons to assist others in the guild to achieve the same goals that they have for themselves. The more we pitch in to help each other, even if we ourselves don't need anything, the better we all get. We expect everyone to be patient with everyone else as far as asking for and receiving help, especially now while, again, we are still growing and seeking more members. 5. When in a group which consists of guildies and pug players, please extend the pugged members the same courtesy as you would to a guildie. Remember - you are representing Nut Kickin Rampage in these situations and you do not want to do anything that might black list yourself or the guild. "Bad player" or "Grief player" information can get around very quickly. Raiding Policy Sign-ups Because we have more than enough people for one 10-man group but not enough for 2 groups we will use a sign-up system to determine the raid group each week. Groups will be formed based on who's signed up and what we need to make a successful group for that week. This will be done as fairly as possible. We want to get everyone in and not leave anyone out but the reality is not everyone will be able to go each week. Some of the officers are willing to sit out for others to come in as long as the group makeup can afford it. Starting Times In order to make as much progress as possible we all need to strive to be on time and ready to go by the designated starting time. This means being logged on prior to the designated starting time in advance enough to get your ammo, pots, flasks, buff food, etc. Invites to the raid will begin being sent out 30 minutes prior to the raid starting time. For a starting time at 8pm invites will begin going out at 7:30pm up until the actual starting time. Ideally we'd like to have the group set and ready for the first pull at the designated starting time. To continue to use 8pm as an example, if at 8pm we are still missing 1-2 guildies for the run we will postpone the first pull for another 10-15 minutes before pugging the final spots. This gives everyone a 30-45 minute window to be on and ready to go which should be plenty of time. Over the first few weeks of doing runs we should get a better idea of what nights and starting times will accommodate the most people so we'll make adjustments as necessary to avoid pugging if at all possible. Remember, be logged on and ready to go prior to the starting time and if that's not possible you have another 10-15 minutes to log on before you'll have to forfeit your spot. Raid Loot First and foremost, we will adhere to a pass on all blues and purples policy for both boss and trash loot. This is done to ensure the loot goes to whoever actually needs it before it goes to anyone else or gets de'd. Loot will be officer decided. The reason for this is we want to gear up everyone equally. The faster everyone gets geared up the better off we'll be as a guild. In the event loot drops that is an equal upgrade for more than one person in the raid, those people will roll to determine the loot. This is really the most fair way to distribute the loot and favoritism will not be used in determining who gets these drops. If at any point in the raid you have a problem with a decision made about a drop please feel free to bring it up and discuss it with an officer. Again we want this to be done as fairly as possible and ensure people get the drops they need so we can progress as quickly as we can as a guild. Required Mods Everyone needs to download Group Calendar v4.0.1, Omen2 (threat meter), and Deadly Boss Mods. We want everyone to be on the same page concerning our raids and these mods will make that happen. | ||
